All modern infrastructural facilities are developed for Teaching and Research in Molecular Biology, Analytical Biotechnology, Microbial Genetics, Microbiology Physiology, Plant and Animal Tissue Culture Bioinformatics and Radio Isotope. Central Instrumentation facilities, Herbarium and Animal House have also been created.
Current focus in biotechnology is using data resources present in database for target based drug development using bio- and chemo- informatics. To train students in this area, we have established a dedicated Bio- Chemo- informatics lab equipped with 22 nodes enriched with popular software packages like Open eye, Emboss etc. The computer-aided pathway analysis is also being used to identify the inter- and intra-cellular molecular interactions, understanding enzyme catalysis, polymorphism, structure activity relationships etc. Apart from that, efforts are in place to make database for understanding biological pathways and development of neuro disorder etc.
ARIBAS has well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories with all routine lab equipments (pH me-ter, balance, colorimeter, compound microscopes, autoclave, distillery, incubator, shaker, elec-trophoresis, centrifuge, etc....). We have more than 130 latest computers with round-the-clock Internet availability. Whole campus of ARIBAS is Wi- Fi system enabled to benefit the students to access e-library (N-list) e-journals and e-books, particularly those who are doing their dissertation work.
Hostel facilities are available to both boys and girls, on the campus as per the availability, providing good mess facilities.
