RESEARCH INTEREST

  • Using the techniques of Microbiology & Mutagenesis and other fundamental processes in microbial cells as pathogenesis, metabolite production & resistance; discovery & identification of microbial flora from unique habitats using classical & rapid screening for microbial diversity in natural habitats.
  • Exploiting microorganisms using microbial fermentation procedures to provide high levels of products of economical interests for chemotherapeutic use; screening & analysis of mutants / clones at laboratory & pilot plant production.
